IT SYSTEM ARCHITECT

You design digital solutions (e.g. for worker visualizations or in our middleware) for the challenging tasks of our production. You will also check our current IT architecture and make recommendations for optimization (including system performance). You define and coordinate the connection of machines to our middleware within the plants. You are also looking for new ways to benefit from existing data (especially production data) and thereby gain valuable insights for our production. The presentation of your results and their further enrichment with cross-departmental information are just as much part of your tasks as support in day-to-day operations (project management and software development). Studies in computer science or computer technology or engineering or a comparable qualification. At least 2 years professional or research experience in one of the following areas: Database Management / Server Management /Network Management or System Integration. Experience in production is an advantage. You have practical experience with middleware architectures. Links via interfaces (web services / REST) Exchange of message formats (XML or JSON) Ideally, the first experience in container deployment (Docker) The first experience with manufacturing IT systems (ERP / MES / APS) is an advantage At least one of the programming languages Python / Java / C++ and/or C# First practical experience with SQL or NoSQL Knowledge of TSDB (InfluxDb) or with publish/subscribe systems is advantageous but not essential
