Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insights and planning for energy storage algorithm technologies, algorithm research and design, technology development, and architecture maintenance. You will lead a team of experts to design the algorithm functions of the digital energy storage system and provide corresponding software and hardware design guidance solutions. You will also define the key capabilities of device-cloud constructive interaction in the energy storage system and optimize the performance, cost, and security.

  • Develop insights and planning for energy storage algorithm technologies, algorithm research and design, technology development, and architecture maintenance in the digital energy field.
  • Lead a team of experts to design the algorithm functions of the digital energy storage system and provide corresponding software and hardware design guidance solutions.
  • Define the key capabilities of device-cloud constructive interaction in the energy storage system and optimize the performance, cost, and security.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate software and hardware solutions to ensure that energy storage systems are highly dependable, scalable, and secure.
  • Research and develop big data algorithms for the energy storage system and design cloud diagnosis and analysis platforms.
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up to date with the latest energy storage technologies.

Requirements

  • Min. master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience and strong foundation in algorithm R&D and engineering development.
  • Solid knowledge of the energy storage system and be familiar with the battery mechanism, application scenarios of the energy storage system, and microgrid.
  • Experience in batch products or implementation is preferred.
  • Proficient in any programming language of Python, Matlab, R, C/C++, and Java.
