Job description
You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and security of a mission-critical training and simulation system used for RAF training exercises. This includes:
- Maintaining and supporting the training platform and associated systems
- Applying patches, updates, and conducting routine system maintenance
- Ensuring system readiness and IT infrastructure compliance
- Managing offline/isolated environments and classified systems
- Acting as the primary point of contact for on-site RAF stakeholders
- Providing reporting and occasional project support to the wider organisation

Requirements
- Background in Command & Control, simulation, operations rooms, or similar (Sergeant level or above preferred)
- Strong experience with VMware, VDI, and offline system management
- Prior experience working with classified systems
- Holds (or can obtain) SC Clearance
