Requirements
The ideal candidate is a seasoned ServiceNow ITOM Architect who combines deep technical expertise with strategic consulting ability. They thrive in hybrid London-based engagements, balancing remote collaboration with on-site stakeholder workshops. They are equally comfortable diving into technical discovery patterns as they are presenting roadmaps to C-level stakeholders, * 10+ years overall IT experience with strong architecture and consulting background.
- 5+ years hands-on with ServiceNow ITOM modules (Discovery, CMDB, Event Management, AIOps).
- Proven track record of conducting ITOM maturity assessments and delivering actionable strategic roadmaps.
Certifications & Frameworks
- ServiceNow CIS - Discovery or Service Mapping (mandatory).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
- ITIL v3/v4 certification to ensure alignment with IT service management best practices.
Technical Expertise
- Discovery: Deep knowledge of MID Servers, credentials, probes, sensors, and discovery patterns.
- CMDB: Skilled in CI classes, data modeling, reconciliation, normalization, and health dashboards.
- Event Management: Expertise in alert ingestion, correlation, suppression, and integrations with monitoring tools.
- AIOps: Experience with anomaly detection, ML models, and automation workflows.
- Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid infrastructure.
- Data Governance: Familiarity with CMDB modeling tools and governance frameworks.
Strategic & Consulting Skills
- Ability to assess current-state architecture and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate with client architects and delivery teams.
- Capable of developing ITOM optimization roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives.
- Skilled at guiding clients on effective license utilization for ServiceNow ITOM modules.
Industry & Location Fit
- Experience working with UK-based enterprise clients in healthcare, finance, telecom, or public sector.
- Comfortable with hybrid work setup in London (or other major UK cities).
- Familiar with Inside IR35 contracting and standard UK work timings.
