Infrastructure Engineer

I'm supporting a large organisation undergoing a strategic migration from on-prem VMware to Azure VMware Solution (AVS), and we're looking for an experienced Azure AVS / VMware Engineer to lead key stages of the migration.

You'll be the technical specialist driving integration, connectivity and performance across a complex hybrid environment.

Role Focus:

• Leading the migration of on-prem VMware environments into Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
• Overseeing integration with Meraki SD-WAN, AOVPN, Veeam Backup & Replication, and SIEM tooling
• Designing & validating ExpressRoute and VPN connectivity
• Troubleshooting, testing and performance tuning across hybrid infrastructure
• Ensuring backup, recovery and monitoring frameworks align with the new AVS estate
