Technical Support Engineer

You will undertake specific responsibilities to support, prioritise and coordinate effective and efficient technical administrative support to the Common Anti-air Modular Missile (CAMM) Family. You will need to exhibit a high level of organisation skills, great team ethic and the ability to interface with people at all levels both internally and externally, whilst embracing innovative ways of working.

• Based at our Stevenage office with the flexibility to travel to other UK sites
• Support the Export Control Facilitator (ECF) on export licencing and security approvals
• Support the Export Delivery Coordinator for export shipping issues
• To work alongside the Sector Knowledge Management lead, assisting them with Knowledge Management initiatives in the domain
• Provide support to our Engineering Security team in the processing of the release of classified data / documents to export customers
• Create and maintain Document templates (Memos, PowerPoint, Report Formats) with up to date commercial /copyright statements for the domain
• Be the sector representative in the implementation for the efficient use of software and associated processes
• Maintain and manage the domains Resource Shortage Register
• Be the owner and gatekeeper of the domains New Starter Pack
• Manage and maintain internal organisation charts for the teams within the domain
• To be a key member within the UK Support Function and participate in engagement activities
• Sharing best practice and knowledge within the UK Support Function and offering guidance and training to team members
• Participation and progress on UK Support Function personal development initiatives - to be accountable for own self-learning and development

Circa £35,000 depending on experience
