A world-leading high-performance engine manufacturer is seeking a Metrology Engineer / CMM Programmer to support a major measurement-system transition within their advanced machining and piston manufacturing facility. • Strong experience with Mitutoyo CMM (MCOSMOS) and a solid grounding in GD&T, engineering drawings and first-principles measurement.
• Exposure to Zeiss Calypso, or willingness to undertake training to support a major software migration.
• Solid understanding of surface texture, profile measurement and wider metrology tools (e.g., Mahr, micrometers, gauges).
• Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO9001, plus experience producing FAIR/ISIR reports, capability studies and Gauge R&R (MSA).
