As part of this growth journey, we seek passionate and talented individuals to join us.The Learning Content team is responsible for designing and developing a diverse range of engaging and inclusive learning solutions for a broad client base across various sectors. Our expertise spans on-demand context-setting animations, inclusive digital learning, thought-provoking podcasts, facilitated in-person and virtual classrooms, and action-oriented peer working sessions. We are renowned for our proficiency in learning and are seeking a skilled Learning Visual Designer to join our team and contribute to our continued growth.What will you be doing?· Attend project kick-off meetings and work with the Learning Content Lead, Instructional Designers (IDs) and/or Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop branding, look & feel documentation and apply these standards to develop initial templates. · Work within a project team with the Lead Visual Designer/Developer to deliver high quality learning assets. · Work with Learning Content Lead /Project managers to estimate completion time. · Interpret storyboards and scripts to create visually engaging content, using experience to recommend appropriate solution format and design approach. · Work closely with Instructional Designers to support the development of storyboards and scripts, providing technical suggestions to further enhance the learning solutions and ensure deliverables can meet quality, cost and timeframes as agreed with Project Management team and client. · Self and peer review assets produced against the project style guide and storyboards. · Source and produce Graphics and video/animations. · Communicate ideas to stakeholders and suggest ways to innovate existing processes and solutions. · Demonstrate commercial awareness when planning build, focussing on quality as well as commerciality. · Bring a passion for learning, creativity and design, keeping abreast with latest design and technology trends.Business development responsibilities:· Work with the Lead Visual Designer/Developer to research and identify future opportunities to innovate and implement new ideas. · Work on demo course building and proof of concepts. · Prepare general marketing support for courses that have been built. · Demonstrate a deep understanding of brand and agreed style guide. · Share knowledge, best practice and lessons learnt from projects with the rest of the team.What will you need to do it? · We're looking for someone with a broad and comprehensive design skillset, with experience in delivering innovative, compelling, visually led designs across a range of formats: · Proficient in eLearning rapid development tools including Articulate 360 and Evolve or experience in Content Management Systems such as WordPress, or other WYSIWYG applications. · Experience producing motion graphics and/or Animation. · Ability to create high-quality visual presentations and documents in Microsoft apps such as Word and PowerPoint. · Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent applications: Photoshop / Illustrator / After Effects / Premiere. · Experience working in a client-focused environment, with excellent collaboration skills and a flexible approach to work, with the ability to influence design decisions. This includes in-house design teams where clients are internal stakeholders. · Ability to manage own workload across a range of projects, prioritising key tasks and managing internal and external stakeholders' expectations of delivery when necessary. · A team player, willing to share and work with colleagues across different time zones to deliver solutions collectively. · Have good planning skills, self-motivated and able to work within a wider project management environment to organise or lead on personal work activities.Skills we'd love to see/Amazing Extras:· Experience in applying User Experience principles when creating proofs and content, using UX tools such as Adobe XD. · Experience in developing visual content for educational purposes or the ability to demonstrate a desire to shift into this area of the design industry. · Ability to produce, record and edit single-camera and multi-camera videos, as well as being able to manipulate video in a post-production process using apps like Premiere and Aftereffects or other similar apps.Please provide a portfolio of your visual design and video / motion graphics work to show the team, this can be provided as a link on your CV or as a separate attachment.Our Locations: LondonLeedsWith 20 sites across the UK, If you have a need for flexibility, please register and discuss this with our team.Find out more:Within Consulting we have a range of divisions and specialisms.
