Job description

Reporting to the Senior Growth Manager, you will be responsible for key customer experiences, research, design and execution, across multiple customer touchpoints from acquisition journey all the way through to servicing.

You will create, champion, and drive our UX / UI approach contributing to the long-term strategy, vision, and roadmap, while focusing on delivering market leading designs and experiences for our customers and even colleagues. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Services and the Senior Management team. Being responsible for all our customer touchpoints, prioritising, defining, and building experiences that enable My Community Finance & Reevo to better serve and convert personal loan and savings applicants.

Given our size its likely you will cover a wide range of capabilities and features, displaying the flexibility required to deliver in a small organisation. Projects will likely include research, iterating and improving on existing designs and experiences using A/B testing, customer and desk research or developing new innovative experiences that further differentiate MCF/Reevo in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead UX & UI design for both existing products and new offerings (including lending & borrowing platforms), ensuring consistency and scalability across all touchpoints.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs through qualitative and quantitative research, usability testing, and persona development, ensuring user-centric design decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align design strategies with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Drive growth initiatives by designing and optimizing A/B tests, onboarding flows, and renewal journeys to improve conversion and retention.
  • Translate data insights and behavioural analytics into intuitive, visually compelling experiences that enhance usability and engagement.
  • Rapid prototyping to validate hypotheses, balancing speed with design quality and attention to detail.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of demonstrable experience in UX/UI design, ideally in B2C and regulated financial products.
  • Have portfolio/examples of past work that you're proud of.
  • Track record of learning and development (particularly in a design/art/computer interaction discipline).
  • Practical understanding of visual design principles including hierarchy, layout, spacing, typography and colour.
  • Advance knowledge of Figma.
  • Understanding of using and development of a design system.

To be successful, you should:

  • Have experience in data-driven environments (e.g., conversion optimisation, retention and mobile app adoption strategies)
  • Be a well-planned and detail-oriented designer who can articulate UX & UI behavioral patterns, designs, and minute interactions in detail.
  • Understand research (quant and qual), test & learn and a knowledge of statistics and cognitive biases is useful.
  • Be a strong communicator (written and verbal) have the ability to get your views across in a succinct and engaging way.
  • Be comfortable with change and a fast pace of growth, we're a small growing company.
