Our client, a leading technology business based in Oxfordshire, is looking to optimise the use of their ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365. To support this programme, they seek a qualified accountant with strong Dynamics 365 implementation or upgrade experience to lead this work over the next 12 months. This is a high-profile interim assignment, working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders to ensure Dynamics 365 is fully embedded, optimised, and delivering meaningful management information. Lead the optimisation, implementation or upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics 365 within the finance function

Act as the finance lead between the business, systems partners, and technical teams

Review current processes and redesign workflows to maximise ERP capability

Ensure accurate financial reporting, controls, and data integrity within Dynamics

Support and improve management reporting and dashboards, working with existing BI tools

Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience
- Proven experience leading or heavily involved in a Dynamics 365 Finance implementation or upgrade
- Strong understanding of finance processes (GL, P2P, O2C, reporting, controls)
- Ability to operate as a hands-on systems lead and trusted business partner
- Experience working in a project or change environment
- Power BI knowledge (or similar BI tools) highly desirable to enhance reporting and insight
- Comfortable working 3 days per week onsite in Oxfordshire, *
- Proven experience in MRP implementation projects, ideally with Microsoft Dynamics
- Strong understanding of material planning, procurement, and production workflows
- Experience in ERP systems and integration with other business functions
- Excellent project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems
- 8-10+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, with deep functional expertise
- Proven success in leading full lifecycle Oracle Finance implementations or ERP transformations
- Strong understanding of finance processes, compliance (IFRS, GAAP, SOX), and reporting
- Hands-on experience with Oracle configuration, workflows, security, and reporting tools (OTBI, Smart View, FRS, BI Publisher)
- Familiarity with chart of accounts, subledger accounting, and intercompany processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Oracle Financials Cloud Implementation Specialist certification (highly desirable)
Desirable Skills, Qualifications & Experience *
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for finance processes
- Knowledge of EPM Cloud for planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Familiarity with treasury, tax, and financial consolidation systems
- Agile/Scrum delivery experience in ERP or finance transformation projects
