Job description
SQL DBA - SQL Server, Azure, Database Administration A SQL DBA is required by Whitehall Resources for our UK based client. This is a permanent position that can be fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home*, with occasional travel to client sites if needed. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day SQL Server database support, consultancy, and project delivery. You will work directly with clients in a customer-facing role, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently and long-term solutions are delivered to a high standard.
Requirements
Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (2016 onwards) across multiple environments? Strong knowledge of High Availability solutions, including Always On Availability Groups, Windows Failover Clustering, Database Mirroring, Replication, and Log Shipping? Solid experience in backup/recovery strategies and performance tuning? Microsoft Azure cloud experience? Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems? Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences? Would you like to? Work in a client-facing role delivering both day-to-day support and consultancy services? Be involved in a mix of reactive support, short-term consultancy, and longer-term project work? Develop your expertise across SQL Server, Azure, and infrastructure projects?
