Test Engineer

On behalf of our client, Morson are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to provide technical support to the manufacture and development testing of complex weapons sub-systems. This role supports products from early design through production readiness, working hands-on with electrical/electronic systems and test facilities., * Provide test engineering support across development and production phases

• Support introduction and configuration control of test facilities and equipment
• Diagnose production test failures down to circuit card/component level
• Identify and implement corrective and remedial actions to maintain production schedules
• Produce test specifications, operator instructions and technical reports
• Represent Test Engineering at Defect Review Board meetings

• HNC/HND in Electronics (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in digital and analogue electronics manufacture and test
• Good understanding of measurement and test principles and equipment
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
• Eligibility for SC (Secret) UK Security Clearance
