Job description

We are in need of an exceptionally skilled Solutions Architect to join our dynamic Architecture as a Service (AaaS) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with diverse teams to develop and implement comprehensive technical solutions that push our mission forward. Your contributions will be pivotal in transforming business requirements into elegant, robust architectures that satisfy both functional and non-functional needs. What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Technical Product Owners and development teams to define and detail the system's architecture.
  • Translate business needs into clear compositions and technical specifications for full-stack solutions.
  • Produce solutions that are incrementally deliverable and thoroughly testable.
  • Build detailed diagrams to communicate system architecture, behaviors, and interactions.
  • Work collaboratively within a team of architects, sharing knowledge and providing constructive feedback.
  • Adhere to regulations, standards, and guidelines, while providing valuable feedback on internal governance and processes.
  • Document and maintain Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) to capture significant architectural decisions.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet the needs of our solutions.
  • Provide technical mentorship to engineering teams to ensure alignment with architectural specifications.
  • Identify and address technical risks, challenges, and dependencies in the architecture and development process.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our architecture and solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Solution/Software Architect specializing in web technologies.
  • Proficiency with system modeling tools and diagrams (e.g., C4, UML).
  • Practical development experience in web application development.
  • Profound knowledge of software architecture principles, patterns, and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of integrating development concepts into software creation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, API composition, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, PubSub).
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for defining APIs, and using tools like Postman to exercise them.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, databases (SQL and NoSQL), and database normalization.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, capable of articulating intricate technical ideas.
  • Demonstrated strength in solving problems and critically evaluating technology solutions.
