DevOps Engineer

Our trading strategies require robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure. We are looking for a senior Cloud and DevOps Engineer to join our team and help build the backbone of our trading operations. Full-time; Start Date: As soon as possible., * Design & maintain infrastructure: architect, deploy, and manage a highly resilient AWS-based infrastructure to support high-frequency trading (HFT) strategies.

• Enhance performance: collaborate with developers and traders to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal low-latency trading.
• Drive automation: create automation scripts and tools to streamline infrastructure management and operational processes, reducing manual intervention.
• Fortify security: implement and continually improve robust security measures to protect systems in a high-risk trading environment.
• Collaborate across teams: work closely with developers, traders, and analysts to understand their needs and deliver solutions that boost productivity and system reliability.
• Manage production infrastructure: oversee and maintain the firm's production trading infrastructure, including automating real-time and batch jobs.
• Resolve technical issues: troubleshoot and resolve technical problems such as server downtime and network connectivity issues.
• Monitor & improve performance: proactively monitor system performance, identify and address potential bottlenecks, and ensure seamless trading operations.

• Proven expertise: at least 5 years of experience in a senior DevOps role within high-frequency trading (HFT) environments in the cryptocurrency sector. Experience working at AWS or Binance is a plus.
• Performance optimization: proficient in optimizing system performance across hardware, software, system, and network levels to reduce latency and enhance throughput.
• Cloud mastery: extensive expertise AWS is essential; insider knowledge preferred. Familiarity with additional cloud platforms is a plus. Strong understanding of load balancing required.
• Advanced networking: deep expertise in UDP, TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPN technologies, and the full network stack.
• Automation advocate: strong background in IaC with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar; adept at scripting in Python, Bash, and other languages.
• Monitoring & databases: experience with Prometheus, Grafana, time-series databases (e.g., TimescaleDB, InfluxDB), and Kafka.
• Security & compliance: in-depth understanding of cloud security practices and threat management; vigilant in safeguarding high-stakes environments.
• Crypto enthusiast: passionate about cryptocurrencies.
• Effective communicator: fluent in English; excels in collaborative, remote team settings.
• Education: bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
