Software Engineer Git/Perl (Remote from EU)

This Administrator will provide technical support and continuous improvement to the organization's software development environment. This role focuses on the administration and optimization of Git environments and the automation of development workflows, requiring solid experience with Perl scripting and Unix-based systems., Support and maintain the organization's software development environment

Administer and optimize Git environments, including configuration, access control, branching strategies, and troubleshooting

Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in Software Configuration Management (SCM)

Automate processes and improve workflows through Perl and Unix scripting

Contribute to defining and implementing development and delivery processes

Minimum of 7-8 years of experience in software development and configuration management

Strong Perl programming skills (a technical test will be part of the selection process)

Proven experience as a Git administrator and advanced user

Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments (RHEL experience is a plus)

Experience with Unix shell scripting (ksh, bash)

Familiarity with modern development practices (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD)

Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
