Job DescriptionSenior Systems EngineerDuration:Permanent roleLocation:Hethel (NR14 8FB), NorwichHybrid:3 days / weekAs a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead the integration of advanced power solutions into customer vehicles and equipment, bridging the gap between high-level requirements and technical execution.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Design & Integration: Oversee the development of product solutions, ensuring seamless integration into customer vehicles and industrial equipment.Requirements Management: Lead the definition and decomposition of technical targets between motors, controllers, and software.Project Leadership: Take ownership of technical delivery-ensuring projects are completed on time, to cost, and to high quality standards.Technical Mentorship: Coach and mentor a team of systems engineers, fostering professional growth and process improvement.Stakeholder Management: Act as the technical lead for customers and suppliers, demonstrating performance advantages and ensuring

regulatory compliance.Candidate RequirementsEducation: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems). Chartered Engineer status is preferable.Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of CAN protocol, electric drive systems, harness development, and Battery Management Systems (BMS).Industry Experience: Proven track record in automotive or off-road vehicle systems, particularly in hybrid/EV conversions and drivetrain technology.Project Delivery: Demonstrated experience in requirements management, change control, and managing multiple live projects of varying complexity.Mindset: A proactive, 'can-do' approach with a commercial mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
