Job description
As a BI Consultant & Data Analyst, you help clients unlock the full value of their data by translating business needs into clear, user-friendly analytics solutions.
You combine functional analysis with hands-on BI expertise: understanding processes, defining requirements, shaping data models, and delivering dashboards that drive action. You don't just focus on the numbers-you also care about how insights are presented, ensuring a strong user experience and high adoption across the organization.
You act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, delivering reporting and analytics solutions that are scalable, trusted, and intuitive to use., * Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges, and reporting needs.

Translate business questions into functional requirements, KPIs, and BI use cases.

Design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports that are both insightful and easy to use (Power BI, Tableau, Looker…).

Apply UX principles to BI: create clear layouts, intuitive navigation, and actionable visual storytelling.

Define and maintain semantic layers and data models that support scalable self-service BI (star schemas, marts, layered architectures).

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable datasets and smooth alignment between data pipelines and BI consumption layers.

Support clients in modernizing their analytics environments, including migration from legacy reporting tools to cloud platforms.

Ensure consistency in metric definitions, governance, and documentation so insights are trusted across teams.

Guide and coach end users to improve data literacy and encourage adoption of BI solutions.

Contribute to continuous improvement through reusable analytics patterns, best practices, and knowledge sharing.

Experience in functional data analysis, BI consulting, or analytics roles with strong stakeholder interaction.

Ability to translate business needs into meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and actionable insights.

Solid SQL skills to explore, validate, and shape data for reporting purposes.

Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and self-service BI concepts.

A user-centric mindset: you care about dashboard UX, clarity, and usability, not just technical correctness.

Comfortable communicating with both business and technical teams, acting as a trusted advisor.

Familiarity with modern cloud data ecosystems (Azure/AWS/GCP, Snowflake, Databricks is a plus).

Enjoy working in a consulting environment with variety in clients, industries, and challenges.
