Software Engineer C++ Aerospace

• Development, design and implementation of full life-cycle simulation software
• Improvement of the simulation framework, user front-end and test/debug interfaces and tools
• Task Performance throughout the software lifecycle (software requirements, architecture, design, code, test, integration and documentation)
• Coordination with customers and internal software teams (design, review and timely delivery of simulators)
• Support for our customer teams during mission preparation and maintenance of simulators

Do you have experience in Python?, Do you have a Doctoral degree?, * Completed studies with a degree in engineering (PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering) or a comparable qualification

• High competence in modern C++, Python, Linux
• Work experience as an IT Developer or software engineer in the field of simulation would be an advantage
• Work experience in the space sector (ground station software) would be an advantage
• Technical Knowledge of federated simulation and co-simulation would be a plus
• Know-How of Qt, Git, DOORS and JIRA and embedded software is an advantage
• Understanding of ECSS-SMP tools/environments and software standards (e.g. ECSS-E-ST-40C- or DO-178B) would be a plus
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, German is not mandatory
