Design Engineer

You will work closely with experienced Design Engineer, gaining hands-on exposure to the full design lifecycle, from concept through to production within a supportive and collaborative environment., This Design Engineer job will involve:

• Support the design and development of new products and components.

• Produce detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

• Support engineering projects with documentation, data management, and technical records.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and other departments to ensure designs meet technical, safety, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in design reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

This Design Engineer job is commutable from Nottingham, Mansfield, Chesterfield, Alfreton, Worksop, Hucknall, Kirkby in Ashfield, Calverton, and surrounding areas.

• Working knowledge of 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor experience advantageous but not essential).

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.

• A proactive attitude with a genuine eagerness to learn and develop within the engineering field.

• You will hold a relevant qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, degree) in a mechanical engineering, or a similar engineering discipline.
