Job description

We are recruiting a Telecoms Technical Lead / ICT Technical Lead to join a global, multidisciplinary engineering organisation focused on next-generation data centre design. This is a permanent, remote role working EMEA hours, offering the opportunity to lead telecom and ICT design at product and system level across large-scale, highly standardised infrastructure projects.

As the Telecoms Technical Lead, you will act as a technical authority for ICT and telecom systems, working across architecture, mechanical, electrical, controls, security, and networking disciplines to deliver fully integrated and scalable designs.

Key Responsibilities

Work with internal telecom engineers and network designers to translate requirements into product-level designs, conceptual one-lines, and rack and tray layouts

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or IT Engineering

5+ years' experience contributing to ICT/Telecom design on large-scale, multi-phase projects

5+ years' experience delivering ICT/Telecom scope within mechanical and electrical data centre products

RCDD certification with a minimum of 4+ years' experience

Strong experience using Autodesk ACC for telecom design coordination and review

Proven experience working with external telecom vendors and reviewing specifications for applicability

Preferred Experience

Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or IT Engineering

6+ years' experience as an RCDD-certified professional

Experience on large-scale data centres (40MW+)

Autodesk Revit or other 3D modelling tools for telecom rack and tray layouts

Strong understanding of how security and controls requirements impact ICT/Telecom design
