Senior Microsoft Engineer

Youll provide senior-level technical support and implementation across Microsoft 365, Azure, and endpoint management technologies. This includes escalation support, environment optimisation, and involvement in cloud migrations and security-driven change initiatives., Advanced Support & Troubleshooting Handle escalations from first-line support across Microsoft 365 services Diagnose and resolve complex issues across cloud and hybrid environments Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes

Microsoft 365 & Azure Administration Manage Microsoft 365 tenant configuration, governance, and lifecycle management Administer security, compliance, and identity policies Deliver advanced configurations across Intune, Autopilot, and endpoint security tooling Support cloud-only and hybrid identity environments

Deployment & Optimisation Support migrations from hybrid to cloud-based environments Roll out and optimise modern workplace features and updates Support and configure Azure services as required Improve collaboration tooling performance and user experience

Security & Compliance Implement Microsoft security best practices including MFA, Conditional Access, DLP, and information protection Monitor and respond to security alerts across Microsoft security platforms Support baseline security configurations aligned to industry standards

User Enablement & Documentation Provide technical guidance to users and lower-tier support teams Produce clear documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides

At least 4 years experience in a Microsoft-focused engineering or support role Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Solid background supporting hybrid identity and directory services Strong endpoint management experience using Intune Experience with Microsoft security and compliance tooling Scripting experience for automation and administration (PowerShell preferred) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Confident communicator with good stakeholder engagement

Desirable Experience Microsoft certifications Experience delivering migration projects Exposure to PKI environments Basic penetration testing awareness Linux experience Networking fundamentals
