Job description
- Lead the definition and governance of performance testing strategy for web and mobile platforms, working with business stakeholders to agree performance expectations and success criteria.
- Ensure a user-centric performance approach is applied, validating consistent and reliable user experience under expected and peak workloads.
- Own performance test reporting and communication, providing clear, consolidated status updates, risk assessments, and readiness recommendations to senior stakeholders and clients.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee performance testing activities within sprint cycles, ensuring teams are supported and delivery milestones are met.
- Collaborate with engineering leads, architects, and business analysts to ensure performance requirements are embedded, validated, and signed off prior to release.
- Lead analysis of business and system requirements to identify performance risks, capacity constraints, and dependency impacts across existing platforms.
- Provide leadership and guidance to performance and test teams, setting standards, reviewing outputs, and driving continuous improvement.
- Act as the escalation point for performance-related issues, supporting informed decision-making and release approvals.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, * Extensive experience in performance testing for enterprise-level web and mobile applications.
- Demonstrated leadership in designing, implementing, and governing automation solutions using frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, Cypress, Espresso, XCUI Test, or comparable technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in developing, reviewing, and maintaining automation code using languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#, with a focus on scalability and long-term maintainability.
- Strong command of CI/CD practices, with proven experience integrating automated testing into enterprise DevOps pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of application architecture, system integrations, and infrastructure limitations.
- Experience with application monitoring and APM tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Datadog.
- Experience mentoring or leading testing teams is highly desirable.
