Join VeroTech as a DevOps - Tools Engineer, working closely with engineering and operational teams to enhance our development lifecycle with cutting-edge tools and infrastructure., Join the VeroTech team as a DevOps - Tools Engineer and help us shape the future of technology. In this role, you will support engineering and operations by setting up and optimizing tools and infrastructure to enhance our development lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our software engineering and IS/IT teams, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence., Your primary responsibility will be setting up and maintaining development tools and infrastructure, with a focus on CI/CD stability. You'll automate processes, identify cybersecurity measures, provide tools expertise, facilitate cross-team exchanges, and recommend tools and processes based on industry trends., * Setting up development tools and infrastructure (CI/CD).

  • Maintaining CI/CD infrastructure operationally and stably, with the help of IS/IT department.
  • Defining best ways to automate and improve development, test, release, update, and support processes.
  • Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures via vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  • Providing tools expertise internally and towards customers.
  • Facilitating exchanges and interactions between software engineers, testers, and IS/IT department.
  • Recommending new tools and processes to improve quality and velocity based on market trends.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Software Engineering.

  • 3+ years of experience.

  • Linux proficiency (CentOS/RedHat, Ubuntu) and Shell scripting.

  • Virtualization and orchestration (VMWare, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible).

  • Cloud/System monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Jaeger).

  • CI/CD tools (Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory).

  • Data management between systems (ERP, PLM, PowerBI).

  • SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB).

  • HTTP protocols (NGINX, httpd, haproxy).

  • Cybersecurity practices (SSL, certificates, vulnerability scanning, pen testing).

Additionally, this person should be proactive, autonomous, well-organized, a team player, and fluent in both French and English.

Knowledge of testing frameworks, other programming languages, cloud provider full stack, and experience in complex software solutions are a plus.
