Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer

• Design and develop novel computer vision and/or deep learning algorithms in areas such as object detection and tracking, image classification, segmentation, image retrieval, visual indexing, scene description, face recognition, body tracking, key point estimation, person re-identification, action recognition, temporal abnormal localization, text detection and recognition, image/video captioning, etc.
• Participate in cutting-edge research in computer vision applicable to product development related to multimedia content analysis and real-time video analysis in a security context.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams.
• Contribute to the improvement and expansion of our assets (software libraries and platforms) by creating next-generation capabilities.
• Support and complement our MLOps lifecycle.
• Participate in scientific publications (international conferences and journals).

• Master's degree or PhD, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in solving computer vision problems.
• Enthusiasm and technical curiosity about ML and AI technologies.
• Experience training and evaluating the most recent deep neural network (DNN) architectures.
• Experience in dataset generation, curation, and annotation for multimedia files, and AI-driven algorithms for manipulated or synthetic files (deepfakes).
• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
• Proficiency with frameworks such as: OpenCV, Scikit-image, Pillow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.
• Solid knowledge of the dev stack, including Git, Markdown, CI/CD, Docker, etc.
• Commitment to best practices in code design, quality, and security.
