We are looking for a highly professional and skilled Infrastructure Specialist, passionate about delivering stable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure services. As Infrastructure Specialist at ENTSO-E, you will maintain, optimize, and support the Secretariat's core internal IT systems, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoint devices, primarily within a Microsoft environment. You will contribute to the resilience and performance of IT services by ensuring infrastructure stability, security, and continuous improvement.
In this role, you will work in the ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels in the ICT section, reporting directly to the Internal IT Services Manager.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain, configure, and support physical and virtual servers and networks
- Manage Microsoft environments including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, and Microsoft 365
- Monitor and optimize VMware virtualization platforms (vSphere/ESXi)
- Administer endpoint lifecycle and compliance through Intune
- Implement IT security measures including identity management, patching, backup, and disaster recovery
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and request.
- Lead or contribute significantly to infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and audits
- Coordinate independently with teams and vendors to deliver solutions and resolve complex issues
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices
- Create and maintain clear system documentation and operational procedures
- Participate in shaping infrastructure standards, policies, and long-term IT strategies
Requirements
Do you have experience in vSphere?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3-5years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Entra ID, Intune
- Experience with VMware virtualization platforms (vSphere, ESXi)
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell)
- Solid understanding of Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, patch management, and IT security best practices
- Willingness to learn and continuously develop new skills.
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills in English.

Additional assets (not mandatory):
- Knowledge of network protocols and IP addressing
- Experience with Lansweeper, Fortinet security appliances, Cisco Umbrella, Citrix ShareFile
- Experience with Microsoft Authenticator, VEEAM Backup & Replication, Linux servers
- Certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA, Azure Administrator), VMware, Fortinet NSE, Cisco, ITIL Foundation
