Job description

  • Greet clients and visitors courteously upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere
  • Manage front desk activities including answering phone calls with proper etiquette and directing inquiries appropriately
  • Assist with contacting suppliers and obtaining prices for parts required.
  • Handle data entry tasks accurately using our CRM application Tyresoft, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks where applicable
  • Maintain organised records of appointments, visitor logs, and other administrative documents
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members
  • Support administrative team with various tasks to ensure efficient office operations
  • Ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional at all times

Requirements

Do you have experience in QuickBooks?, We are seeking a friendly and professional Service Greeter / Receptionist to join our team. This role involves welcoming visitors, managing front desk operations, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and proficiency in office software. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable administrative experience within a dynamic environment.

We are a very busy independent tyre, mot and service center. Previous experience in the motor industry would be desirable but not essential. An interest in cars would also be useful., * Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and data entry software
  • Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally over the phone and in person
  • Organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
