Job description

Working with our Data department, this role will include defining the required scope of reports and dashboards with key stakeholders, extracting data from our systems and transforming it into insight in the form of reports and dashboards. Our Data Analysts ensure that information is provided and communicated in an intuitive, useful and accessible manner to the Wave audience., * Spending time with stakeholders around the business to understand their reporting needs and helping them to imagine and draw up solutions such as reports, dashboards and data pipelines that meet their needs in an efficient way.

  • Writing SQL code and DAX to manipulate data, build data models and calculations.
  • Designing impactful dashboards
  • Quality testing your data, building alerts and sharing findings with your colleagues

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, The role will suit you if you are a great communicator who can listen to business requirements and help them to shape analytics solutions that unlock silos, save time and tell data stories. You'll be able to organise you time well and share your technical expertise with your team and self-service users around the business. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment and understand the importance of testing and governance in ensure accurate results., * Proven experience as an analyst working with Power BI and DAX code

  • Skilled in SQL Code
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel
  • Knowledge of reporting technologies and of relational databases.
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks, in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Organised and reliable, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as an active part of the BI team.

Benefits & conditions

Salary: £35,891 - £44,627 plus a discretionary bonus potential of up to 8% of annual salary
