Job description

As a Deployment Engineer, you are responsible for implementing and integrating the Tidalis platform within complex customer environments. You work at the intersection of software, infrastructure and operational maritime systems.

You are part of a multidisciplinary delivery team consisting of:

· Systems Engineers

· Technical Project Managers

· Systems Architect

· Deployment Engineers

Within this structure:

· The Systems Engineers define the configuration and module specific implementation plans.

· The Systems Architect consolidates all modules into one end to end architecture and gives the final technical approval.

· Deployment Engineers execute the implementation and integration within the customer environment.

Currently, Deployment Engineers are also involved in update and upgrade cycles. In the future SaaS setup, routine updates will increasingly move toward Service Desk and Support teams, and automation will take a larger role. This means that the Deployment Engineer role will evolve toward complex new integrations, large scale implementations and technically challenging rollouts rather than repetitive maintenance work.

Your Responsibilities

· Deploy and configure the Tidalis platform in customer environments

· Implement configuration plans created by Systems Engineers

· Integrate with customer infrastructure, hardware and network environments

· Work with Linux systems, servers, networking and security components

· Validate deployments and support system acceptance testing

· Troubleshoot integration issues across software, hardware and network layers

· Collaborate closely with the Systems Architect and Technical Project Managers

· Travel occasionally to customer locations when required

You operate in safety critical and security sensitive environments where reliability, documentation and structured execution are essential.

Why This Role Is Interesting

This is not a pure support or maintenance position. You will work on complex technical integrations in environments where software meets hardware, radar systems, sensors and secure networks.

Requirements

  • Experience with system integration, deployment or infrastructure engineering
  • Strong understanding of Linux environments
  • Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
  • Experience with on premise environments and preferably cloud integrations
  • Comfortable working in multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Structured and precise in documentation and validation
  • Able to work in mission critical environments

Experience in maritime, defense, telecom or other infrastructure heavy sectors is a plus, but not required.

Due to security regulations and mandatory background screening by the Dutch Military Intelligence and Security Service (MIVD), the following requirements apply:

  • EU nationality or Turkish nationality
  • Minimum of 4 consecutive years residing in the European Union
  • No visa sponsorship available

Candidates must successfully pass the MIVD background investigation.
