Job description

In this role, you design, develop and maintain data pipelines that extract and integrate data from a range of internal and external systems into our data platform. You will work on robust and scalable workflows and ensure that they continue to operate reliably, even as data volumes grow. You safeguard the quality, structure and reliability of data, implement validation rules and ensure that governance and privacy standards (such as GDPR) are adhered to.

You will also play a key role in an important technological transition: the phased migration from our current data warehouse to a modern lakehouse architecture. In this process, you will contribute to building scalable data structures and improving our data solutions.

You continuously improve the storage and processing performance of our data systems, optimise existing ETL processes and work closely with colleagues across the Data team to support their data needs. You act as an active sparring partner within the team, document solutions thoroughly and help colleagues grow in data-engineering best practices. Thanks to your efforts, teams have access to reliable, high-quality datasets that lead to sharper insights and better-informed decisions.
