Job description
As HW and Systems Engineer you are developing BMS HW designs, but you are also in charge of setting up the test program according to the V-model. This is done together with test Engineers, HW-Engineers and FW engineers. Finally you will be working on the integration of the Battery into the application of the Customer. This means that you will perform the following tasks:
- Design the battery management systems from ground up, ensuring product quality and reliability.
- Work on debugging and launching new hardware prototypes.
- Coordinate the full end-to-end testing cycle.
- Conduct thorough analysis, calculations and modeling to ensure optimal design and efficiency.
- Plan and organize external compliance testing.
- Create and manage the testing planning.
- Take ownership of field issues by replicating, documenting, and collaborating with development teams to find the root cause quickly.
- Execute root cause analysis on prototype models, helping out with improvements on the design.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Test cases?, You're good in designing complex systems.
You have a true engineering mindset: curious, detail-oriented and relentless about product safety.
As our Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the Cleantron's battery management systems development, solving complex hardware/software challenges and making sure every product meets our high quality standards.
Must-have
- Relevant technical degree in Electrical, Embedded or other related field.
- Experience in systems engineering, schematic design or related field.
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture: microcontrollers, peripherals, and how it all connects.
- Understanding of power electronics design.
- Analytical mindset for root cause analysis and problem-solving in complex environments.
- Experience with electronics testing and certification.
- Experience creating detailed test plans and test cases.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Nice-to-have
- Knowledge of designing for EMC compliance.
- Experience with STM32 microcontrollers or similar embedded platforms
- Experience with power electronics.
