Job description
- Acting as the primary contact for IT Support and addressing daily inquiries.
- Delivering support to our staff through phone, email, remote desktop, and in-person interactions.
- Assisting with various devices, including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, and printers.
- Setting up and installing IT equipment, mobile devices, and printers.
- Managing users in Active Directory and Office 365 platforms.
- Helping manage the company's telephone system.
- Facilitating onsite and remote work by supporting the group network infrastructure.
- Creating and updating IT technical documentation as needed.
- Maintaining and updating the company's IT hardware and software database.
- Aiding in the use of specialized software and solutions, and collaborating with the IT Manager on larger projects.

If you're a friendly and approachable individual with exceptional communication skills and a proactive attitude towards IT Support, then we want you to join our team! In this exciting and varied role, you'll have the chance to work both autonomously and in collaboration with the IT Manager, tackling a wide range of responsibilities that directly contribute to the success of our dealership., * A strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Proficiency in using and managing Active Directory and Office 365 platforms.
- Familiarity with Windows 11, Office 365, and Windows Server.
- Experience with troubleshooting and providing support for specialised software and solutions.
- Understanding of network infrastructure to include LAN, WAN and VPN.
- A full driving license and willingness to travel (preferred, but not essential).
- Minimum of two years experience in an IT Support or Helpdesk role.
- Experience working with remote and onsite support for a diverse group of users.
- Demonstrated success in setting up, installing, and configuring IT equipment and devices.
- Experience with Ubiquiti equipment (advantageous).
- Exposure to project management or involvement in larger-scale IT projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Friendly and approachable manner, with a strong customer service orientation.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
- Team player who can collaborate well with colleagues and support the IT Manager as needed.
