Job description
The Salesforce Developer is responsible for coding, unit testing, building applications, and customizing Salesforce solutions. They also collaborate closely with administrators and business leaders to design, configure, test, and deploy applications within the company framework.
Job Details Role Specific Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Salesforce Administrator and business leaders to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality.
- Build Salesforce applications using Apex and Visualforce and leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform to support the company's programs.
- The developer leverages AI functionality in the Salesforce org to provide AI-assisted solutions for business processes, and research solutions for business issues and process improvements in Salesforce or available apps.
- Experience including but not limited to analysis, modeling, design, coding, testing and implementation.
- Candidates should have proficiency in Salesforce.com development, including Apex and Visualforce, REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, and integration experience. Certifications such as Salesforce Developer, Administrator, and Sales Cloud are preferred
- Develop custom applications using Salesforce. com and integrating salesforce.com with other systems.
- Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce. com platform.
- Create and execute unit, integration and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data.
- Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users.
- Provide detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions. Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution's feasibility and functionality.
- Follow and understand Salesforce product and technical capabilities resulting from product releases and acquisitions.
- Provide backup support on support request tickets.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Creative, experienced with Salesforce Lightning, API design and integration, Agile development teams, and proactive in Salesforce enhancements while adhering to best practices
- Collaboration is emphasized through close work with Salesforce Administrators and business leaders, as well as supporting backup on support request tickets and active participation in various phases of application development
Requirements
Do you have experience in Unit testing?, * Certified Salesforce Developer Preferred. Additional certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud
- Apex and Visualforce development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce.com solutions.
- Experience in customization, configuration, Apex, Visualforce pages with JavaScript and tools like Apex Data loader, Workbench, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud with sound ability to integrate various business processes across different systems.
- In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce.com.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good Interpersonal skills, strong understanding of fundamental business process, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
