Job description
As IT Product Owner Service you will be the right hand of the Business Product Owner, providing proactive support and guidance on both strategic and operational levels. You will follow up on the Technology Roadmap and ensure the Business Product Owner is well-informed about key updates, supplier interactions, and technical developments.
You act as the single point of contact for all technical aspects of the application and ensure proper alignment across IT teams, including security, operations, and infrastructure. Your responsibility includes maintaining high-quality documentation in Confluence and DevOps, in line with IT standards.
You will be expected to understand the underlying business processes. You will lead a number of functional analysts who will translate these processes into clear, actionable technical requirements. Ensuring thorough testing, seamless handovers to support, and advising the Business Owner on change requests will be key parts of your role.
In addition, you will keep detailed records of methodologies, processes, and findings to support traceability and continuous improvement. Cross-functional collaboration and a structured, methodical approach are essential to succeed in this position.
In this role you will report to the Portfolio Manager Customer Center Solutions in the Power Technique IT organization.
Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, * Strong product ownership mindset , with a proven ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Experience with customer-facing digital applications , ideally in a service or industrial context.
- Solid understanding of service operations , including workflows, customer support processes, and field service management.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills , with the ability to align diverse interests and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. You're the bridge between business and development.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills , with the ability to interpret data and user feedback to drive product decisions.
- Technical fluency , enabling effective collaboration with developers, UX designers, and IT architects.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms for backlog and project management.
- A collaborative and proactive attitude , with a passion for delivering value to customers and internal users.
- A very good knowledge of English is a prerequisite. Mastering other languages is a plus.
- You are flexible, pressure proof, capable of setting priorities and managing deadlines autonomously.
