Job description
- Develop, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform Virtualization (OCPV) environments.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible, including playbooks and roles.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and integration tasks.
- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and application teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCPV environments, Ansible playbooks, and Python automation.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and standardization.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Virtualization?, * Strong experience with OpenShift Container Platform Virtualization (OCPV).
- Proficiency in writing and managing Ansible playbooks and roles; experience with Ansible Tower is a plus.
- Solid Python programming skills for automation and scripting tasks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
- Good understanding of Linux systems, networking, and system administration.
- Experience with container tools such as Kubernetes and OpenShift CLI.
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sheffield
