Job description
We are currently looking for a Design Engineer to strengthen our team, based in Colombes (92). In this role you would be carrying out the design for our water mist fire suppression systems and provide support to the sales team. Serving as the technical reference for the company's products and services, ensuring full compliance with current regulations., * Review and analyze market documents, including CCTP, CCTC, CCAP…,projects schedules, and architectural plans

Conduct a comprehensive risk assessment

Create all design plans using specialized AutoCAD MEP software, sizing the pressurization system

Perform and optimize hydraulic calculations using our specific software

Prepare a detailed list of components and materials required for the project execution.

Finalize the calculation sheet to support precise cost estimation.

Partner with sales engineers throughout the design phase to align technical and commercial objectives, support the sales department during client presentations and meetings

Perform on-site surveys as necessary prior to project initiation.

Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and assist in drafting the DPFG (detailed price breakdown).

Present project details and technical decisions to the implementation team during handover meetings.

Stay updated with applicable regulations and monitor any changes, keeping track of technical innovations

Respect the HSE guidelines, identify potential risks, and report issues when necessary.

Contribute to Continuous Improvement, propose enhancements to optimize the performance and improve work methods
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, Do you have a Master's degree?, To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Bac +2 to Bac +5 in design, mechanical/electrical engineering or another related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in these fields
- Solid knowledge of general installation design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
- Strong communication skills with advanced French and at least intermediate English knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and communication tools
- Highly detail-oriented personality with the ability to work independently
- Creative thinker with adaptability and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Although not necessary, it would be a great advantage:
- Experience with 3D modelling
- Experience with HVAC, fire protection system/sprinkler design, involvement with plumbing/piping
