Our client develops complex high tech solutions for a specific industry. In their industry they are the world-wide market leader. The European HeadQuarters is based in Leiden.

Functie The position is based in Holland, although you may be required to do some travelling to their offices in England and Germany. The position entails the testing of products developed both in Holland and abroad: This will require good communication skills and time management.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating the testing within the Dutch office.
• Reporting testing progress
• Producing estimates for new test projects
• Analyzing requirements to produce test cases/conditions
• Developing test scripts using a variety of tools including Word and Excel and automated tools
• Running test scripts
• Raising defects
• Training/Mentoring other test analysts in new procedures/tools.

The applicant will be ISEB/ISTQB certified, has a graduate-level education and experience in using quality control/assurance standards, in planning and estimating testing activities. The applicant will require strong communication skills and will be comfortable liaising with developers over technical issues. The applicant will be able to train other test analysts in new procedures and tools and help to implement best practices. The applicant will be fluent in English, Dutch preferred. A library background is preferred., * Experienced in developing test cases and testing for a variety of differing system types including, but not limited to, Web and Client Server based systems.

• Knowledge and experience of using testing tools including test management software, defect tracking software and regression tools.
• Experience in JIRA preferred.
• Advanced QTP and/or working knowledge of VB essential
