Job description

  • Support and Maintain hosted infrastructure environments - Windows and Linux based systems
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other members of the Operations Team
  • Support, develop and train Junior Operations Analysts
  • Administer Windows Active Directory and Exchange server
  • Manage and support office infrastructure and systems - including Domain Controllers, file servers, networks, phone systems, switches, monitors, peripherals, etc
  • Provide IT support and assistance to all company departments
  • Manage and liaise with third party suppliers and providers (eg Infrastructure Hosting; Nous IT Support resource; IT consultants; etc)
  • Build and maintain desktops, laptops, Macs and mobile devices for company employees
  • Review and improve Operations processes
  • Create, maintain and update Operations documentation of processes and producers
  • IT Ops related Project work (eg AWS migration, CRM implementation, TFS migration, implementation and rollout of new applications)
  • Represent IT Operations on projects and in meetings
  • Occasion tasks and projects that require evening and\or weekend work
  • Provide out of hours cover as part of an on call rota, * Windows Active Directory and Exchange administration

  • Desire to learn new technologies and skills
  • Good understanding of Security in relation to network, server and application configurations.
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
