Job description

Our client is one of the fastest growing young businesses in Britain,with headquarters based in twickenham and to help continue this phenomenal growth, they are looking for a Junior PHP Developer., You will be building and supporting full-stack PHP, open on your experience with frameworks (whether you have used Zend, Laravel, Magento, Drupal, Symfony, Symfony 2 or CakePHP etc)., Working within a small team, this is a great role for a Junior PHP developer with full LAMP Stack skills and some commercial experience to join a young, innovative and fast-growing consumer brand.

Requirements

  • Min of 1 years' experience of working on a consumer-facing e-Commerce environment
  • Experience of ecommerce platforms, preferably Magento
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and hard working
  • Ability to work cross functionally and manage appropriate stakeholders
  • Experience of agile project management methodologies, * At least 1 years' experience working with Magento
  • PHP / Magento / MySQL / Linux / Git / Zend
  • Proof of integrating and implementing Magento plug-ins and extensions.
  • Experience of custom written modules and extensions for Magento preferred
  • Proficient in HTML5/CSS3
  • Ability to write jQuery/Javascript
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Experience of using version control (e.g. GIT HUB)
  • Awareness and understanding of internet standards, best practices and emerging technologies, in particular responsive websites
  • Cross-browser testing
