Job description

Manage and administer a companywide reporting infrastructure based on MS SQL Server Reporting Services and MS SQL Server Analysis Services

Analyse, develop and deliver a wide variety of reports (customer facing, internal as well as ad-hoc queries) required across all areas of the business

Monitor and handle report development request tickets

Support and work together with dedicated MI teams across departments

Develop and maintain tools for automating ETL processes of large volumes of data from various sources

Participate in functional / technical /user acceptance testing efforts

Requirements

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge and experience in relational database concepts, design, constraints, stored procedures, functions and optimization

Strong command of SQL, for both Data Definition Language and Data Manipulation Language

2-3 years experience with MS SQL Server Databases (essential, experience with other DBMS valuable), MS SQL Server Reporting Services (strongly preferred) and MS SQL Server Integration Services (desirable)

Strong data manipulation and task automation skills, familiarity with PowerShell scripting highly desirable

Expertise with MS Excel, including VLookup and Pivot tables

Maintain detailed in-depth knowledge of the data architecture and structure of in-house software systems
