Job description

To create, maintain and update high quality/elegant user interfaces for web-based software products., * Working closely with our in-house design team to develop new designs and enhance existing solutions

  • Liaising with other internal teams to analyse functional requirements

  • Producing workflows and wireframes from initial specifications

  • Developing design visuals for sign-off with key stakeholders

  • Creation of HTML and CSS code from final visuals

  • Creation of client-sponsored themes for white-labelled products

  • Contribution to design documentation and guidelines

  • Other design duties as required

Key Deliverables:

  • Ensuring designs are elegant, intuitive, fit for purpose and delivered within agreed timescales.

Stakeholders:

  • Project Managers, Developers, Technical Architects, Business Analysts

Requirements

Skills & Experience (required):

  • Minimum two years' web design/front-end experience

  • Strong Adobe Creative Suite software skills

  • Solid understanding of modern web development technologies and techniques including HTML 4/5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and Responsive Design

  • Good knowledge of accessibility standards

  • Proven understanding of user interface design, Advantageous:

  • Experience working within a development environment

  • Understanding of Agile working methodology
