IT Operations Analyst

A Staines-upon-Thames based technical service provider are seeking an Senior IT Operations Analyst to support, secure and maintain their IT systems predominantly in the cloud (AWS).

Technical knowledge and experience required:

• Windows Active Directory and Exchange administration and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration. (Must be strong technically in either Windows or Linux)
• Windows Server 2012
• Configuration Management
• Central Management of End Point Security & AV
• Monitoring resource availability
• Security Event Management - Solarwinds
• Understanding of Security CI/CD Pipeline
• Firewalls & Networking
• Office 365
• Mac OS

Skills Required:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to take ownership and manage tasks until their completion
• Strong analytical, administrative and organizational skills
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Delivery focused with the ability to prioritise business critical solutions.
• Desire to learn new technologies and skills
• Good understanding of Security in relation to network, server and application configurations.
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision

Desirable Skills:

• AWS
• Experience working within Managed Service or Off Premise Solutions
