Public Health Design Engineer

Job Description: The engineer will be required to deal with projects predominantly in the South East from concept/feasibility stage, through design and construction to commissioning and handover under the guidance of a director. Skills that will be developed include but are not limited to the following:

1. Domestic water design including demand calculations to BS and IoP standards
2. Domestic water and drainage pump capacity sizing
3. Above ground foul and rainwater design (gravity fed systems)
4. Fire sprinkler design
5. Design and specification of renewable technologies
6. Detail development of concept designs (RIBA Stage 2) to include equipment selection and specification etc., to completion of construction stage information (RIBA Stage 5)
7. Liaison with architects, clients, structural engineers, and contractors
8. Project Management
