Backbase is growing and therefore we are looking for new colleagues! We're seeking a Senior Frontend Consultant to enhance our current Professional Services consulting team., As a Senior Frontend Engineer you are a part of the Engineering Team and you will report to the Technical Director., Working as a Senior Front-end consultant you will collaborate with strategic clients in the design, development and evolution of mission critical web applications. You will be challenged to implement complex and modern web applications based on an Object Oriented architecture while applying solid programming patterns - without loosing focus on UI innovation and creativity. Our Sr. Frontend Consultants do a wide variety of work including Ajax training and best practices consulting, frontend technical design, and application development based on high quality standards.
Requirements

Then you might be in for the experience of your (developer-) life!, * Minimum of 4 years experience as a Frond-end Developer
- An expert on the required skills: (X)HMTL, CSS, JavaScript, DOM, XML, XPath and XSLT.
- Master in cross-browser compatibility issues
- Good understanding of Object Oriented architecture
- Some experience in Java/.Net/PHP is desirable
- Experience with performance tuning, reusability and maintainability of Ajax software.
- Quality driven & pixel-perfect focused
- Experience with automated testing of frontend deliverables is a plus (e.g. Selenium)
- Understanding and experience on architecture design patterns is an advantage
- Able to mentor junior colleagues and guide customers.
- You possess excellent communicative skills in English and preferably also in Dutch.
