business analyst - business intelligence

As one of the data/business analysts you will be working together with colleagues and client staff, where our (and your) role is always based on a realistic commitment to deliver results. You enjoy sharing your experience and knowledge with your team members, thus maximizing these results. Your attitude is critical and you always challenge existing solutions.

In the projects you will meet the client and are able to understand their business. Based on this understanding you can analyze what is in the data to define what with will be the target solution for the data migration or data ware house in close cooperation with the client. In the next phase of the project you translate the mapping workshops into mapping specifications that will be used as input by your colleagues technical analysts. In case of defects and issues you will analyze these and propose the right business solution as well as translate this solution into technical spec. You have strong communication skills in both Dutch and English and are flexible to work in the Benelux area.

REQUIRED *Bachelor's Degree, preferred is a Master's Degree *At least 6 months experience in Analytics *At least 3 years experience in Reporting (Cognos, Business Objects, Brio, MicroStrategy) *At least 3 years experience in Data Modeling / database design *At least 3 years experience in RDBMS (DB2, Oracle, SQLServer,...) *At least 3 years experience in ETL: Infspere, Powercenter (Enterprise Datastage), Cognos *At least 3 years experience in Cognos Powerplay, Data Mining *At least 3 years experience in writing technical specifications, familiar with Visio Systems (AIX, WIndows, iSeries) *English + Dutch: Fluent
