Functie As technical application manager (TAM) you will be responsible for the availability and performance of our 24/7 internet payment platform. You will be working in a group of technical application managers (TAM-group). This group is the central contact point for problems related to the application. You will be keeping track of changes and bugs within the system using our call system. The Tam group is also responsible for applying releases, changes and updates to the system where they are required.
A Senior Technical Application Manager will (also) be responsible for managing this team, including HR related issues. You will keep track of changes within the system, resolve incidents and set priorities. You will also bring forward ideas for improvement in areas of stability and performance.
Requirements
Sound knowledge and experience in at least 3 of the following areas of -Sun Solaris and Linux OS -Unix scripting -Sun-one application server -relational databases (preferably Oracle)
Experience in the following areas is beneficial -Java/ jsp -ITIL -PL*SQL -SQL -Performance tuning
Personal requirements -strong communicator both verbally and in written English, preferably also Dutch. -Teamplayer -Service driven -Proactive
