Job description

Are you an inspiring data leader who thrives on developing people, shaping culture, and driving strategic impact across an organisation? This could be the perfect role for you.

Data Analysis is at the core of our UK business, delivering critical insights that influence strategic direction and enable information-driven decisions. In this role, you will lead and nurture a high-performing team, set the vision for analytical excellence, and ensure our data community continues to grow in capability, cohesion, and influence.

You will combine strong technical understanding with exceptional leadership, guiding teams through complex, high-risk work while fostering an environment where people feel supported, empowered, and motivated to deliver their best.

What You'll Do

On any given day, you'll operate across leadership, strategy, technical oversight, and organisational influence. Your responsibilities will include:

Team Leadership & Development - Leading, mentoring, and developing a diverse team of analysts. Creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged, and able to grow their skills and careers.

Strategic Direction & Prioritisation - Setting the agenda for key analytical workstreams, ensuring the team focuses on the highest-value problems and delivers outcomes aligned to business priorities.

Technical Oversight of Complex Delivery - Providing direction and governance on the most complex, high-risk technical work. Ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, well-architected, and aligned to best practice. Acting as the escalation point for technical judgement calls.

Driving Advanced Analytical Solutions - Leading the design and delivery of sophisticated data products, models, and analytical frameworks that enable the business to make smarter, faster decisions.

Stakeholder Influence & Relationship Building - Acting as a trusted partner to senior leaders, shaping decisions through clear, compelling insight and advocating for data-driven thinking across the organisation.

Community & Culture Building - Fostering a strong, inclusive data community. Driving initiatives that strengthen collaboration, wellbeing, knowledge-sharing, and a sense of belonging within the team and wider department.

Innovation & Capability Growth - Championing new technologies, tools, and ways of working. Encouraging experimentation, continuous learning, and the adoption of modern analytical approaches.
