The scope includes reverse engineering existing FPGA implementations, developing firmware from hardware requirements, and supporting integration of FPGA designs onto new or existing boards., * Lead FPGA development for legacy aerospace designs, including reverse engineering, and board bring-up activities.
- Develop firmware requirements from hardware requirements.
- Work closely with hardware teams, supporting early-phase board design and integration.
- Ensure designs and deliverables comply with DO-254 aligned processes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline., * Strong FPGA experience using VHDL, including Xilinx or Microchip devices.
- Proven experience working from limited or legacy design information.
- Experience working in regulated aerospace or defence environments (DAL-D).
- Awareness of DO-254 or similar hardware certification standards is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a small team and across parallel design and verification activities.
SC clearance (or eligibility) and ability to work on-site 3-4 days per week. Similar jobs
