Principal Full Stack Engineer Location: Belfast Working Model: Hybrid Type: Permanent Reporting to: Head of Engineering OCHO is partnering with a high growth technology business to appoint a Principal Full Stack Engineer who can operate at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and leadership. with Product and UX to shape features from idea to release * Own the full delivery lifecycle from planning through QA, release, and iteration * Build and optimise CI and CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS * Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership across teams * Mentor junior and mid level engineers, raising the bar on quality and velocity * Contribute to engineering standards, rituals, and best practice adoption * Present demos and technical updates to keep stakeholders aligned This role requires someone comfortable moving between strategy and execution. What We're Looking For You'll likely bring: * 7+ years of full stack engineering experience * Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python * Deep understanding of AWS including EC2, ECS, S3, and Lambda * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments * Hands on experience building modern CI and CD pipelines * Experience leading engineers and owning technical delivery * A product mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions * Strong communication skills and confidence influencing stakeholders Experience in startup, scale up, or greenfield environments is highly valued. Comfort working with PostgreSQL is expected. Exposure to MongoDB is beneficial.
