Job description
This is a key role, supporting both in-house teams and clients across a variety of environments. Youll act as the technical bridge between 1st line support and senior engineershandling cloud services, networks, servers, and more advanced diagnostic work.
What you'll be doing:- Responding to and resolving 2 nd
3rd line technical issues, both remotely and on customer sites.- Supporting cloud infrastructure, networking, servers, and complex diagnostics.- Assisting the 1st line team with escalated technical queries and mentoring where needed.- Liaising directly with clients to troubleshoot problems and deliver clear, helpful guidance.- Evaluating new technologies and software to stay ahead of the curve.- Performing system checks, updates, and OS re-installations as required.
Requirements
What were looking for:- At least 3 years of experience in IT support, including cloud, hardware, and software administration.- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, networking (DNS/IP), and Office 365 admin.- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and VoIP systems is highly desirable.- A full UK driving licence (this role includes on-site visits).- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Bonus skills (not essential but great to have):- Microsoft certifications (e.g. MCP, MCSA, or MCSE).- PowerShell experience.- Previous experience in specifying and building cloud-based solutions.
