place where everyone can grow, develop and fulfil your potential with meaningful careers.ROLE SUMMARY:We're looking for an enthusiastic, passionate software engineer with QA automation experience to work on our Foreign Exchange trading platforms.This position offers exciting opportunities for a self-motivated individual to learn how the FX market operates.This is an individual contributor role and you will be part of the team that drives the design and development of our low latency high volume trading systems.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Assisting in the design, enhancement and testing of the trading system components. Working with stake holders and business owners to continuously improve our product offerings. Demonstrating a consistent focus on quality through the creation and execution of automated tests. Working within an agile team, finding innovative ways to make your team work more effectively. Helping Application Support teams troubleshoot production issues.WHAT
Requirements
YOU'LL BRING:Technical Skills:Solid core Java experience Strong multithreading skills Knowledge of development tooling, e.g. unit test framework, source control, build tools Java/Groovy programming - For maintaining existing regression test suites Proficient in Unix scriptingAdditional preferred skills:Perl, Database/SQL, FIX, multicast, socket programming, middleware Performance and stress testing - Latency benchmarking, capacity testing Packet capture tools - Corvil and network analysisPersonalGood verbal and written communication skills Excellent team player, effective partner across the organisation Strong problem solving skills, self-starterEducation/Experience:Extensive software engineering experience QA automation experience A relevant degree is desirable, but experience and the right approach to work are just as importantCareer Stage:Senior AssociateLondon Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information:Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and
